okay.... king of stupid questions has a new question. When I open a
terminal I always thought the shell I was running was bash.
http://www.interworx.com/community/alternative-shells-for-linux/ says that
in reality it is Dash. "If you’re running a Debian version later than
Squeeze, or one of its derivatives, including Ubuntu, then you’re likely
already using Dash, as it’s the default for those distributions. " How do I
verify this? And does this mean that there is no need to worry about the
Bash vulnerability that was recently discovered?
