Either eyeball it, drop the md5sum in a file and -c it. Or pull it into
stdin somehow and don't give -c an argument.

c941500d0f13118ead7c1d1eb79dec6b hosts.v2.dr
jmcphee@mcphee ~ :) $ echo 'c941500d0f13118ead7c1d1eb79dec6b hosts.v2.dr'
