No need to assume. I have volunteered my time and effort since joining
the community in May'06. I've written and maintain most of the code in
the qmailtoaster-plus package, built the qtp.qmailtoaster.com site, and
accepted the lead position on the project in Jan'12. Not to mention the
scads emails I've written on the project's email lists.
I have occasionally contracted a few hours here and there for people who
have needed help with their QMT, but that honestly hasn't amounted to
much over the years.
I have also received "mystery" CDs in my mailbox a few times from
grateful QMT users. They always put a smile on my face. :) (I have a
wish list at
amazon@shubes.net).
I must say that QMT has provided me an excellent opportunity for
developing many skills. We have many friendly and talented individuals
in the community. Like many things though, you get out of it what you
put into it.
Just thought I'd clear the air on this. I don't blow my own horn very
often. ;)
