It seems to me that if I were to go, I should take the following
precautions.
Don't bring my cell phone. Find a pay phone.
While at the event keep my credit card in a steel container such as an
altoids tin.
Bring cash just in case the altoids tin is not enough.
Take notes using paper and pencil.
