Fetchmail alternative

Hello!

Currently I use fetchmail to pull in messages from multiple imap
accounts, several of which limit how often I can poll for messages, all
of which support IDLE. However, fetchmail idle support is not working
for me. I am beyond caring enough to figure out why it does not work,
and am interested in an alternative...

Any suggestions welcome and thank you!
