Hi,
I'm thinking about making the move to a smart phone. I am looking at the DROID DNA by HTC that Verizon is offering for $199.
I am interested in a smart phone because I would like to use it to take pictures, capture video, and edit video, so I can manage my blog and social media. I might even use it as a phone.
As an example usage: I went to DMV about a year ago to update my title after paying off my car. I had to wait over an hour. DMV charges for the service they provide. I suspect the state has reduced the number of people assisting customers due to budget constraints. I also suspect that the DMV turns a profit and if so that money needs to be used to create a better customer service experience.
If I would have had a smart phone I could have interviewed several people, uploaded the video to YouTube.com, written an article for my blog, added some tweets to my twitter account, and updated my Facebook page, all while waiting.
This is an example as to why I want to upgrade to a smart phone and what my expectations are.
I'd be interested in what your thoughts might be about the DROID DNA, Verizon, and how I expect to use the phone.
Thank you!!
