pending print job

I had a little problem; I couldn;t remember my root password on the
computer with the printer. Luckily /home directory is on its own separate
partition so I figured there wouldn't be a problem just reinstaling / .
WellI go to print from the laptop and it says in Document Print Status that
the Status is Pending. Doesn't that mean there is a job ahead of it? but
where is it?
