phpMyAdmin via Yum on CentOS 6.2

Hello all,
I am trying to install phpmyadmin via yum on CentOS 6.2. I have
Percona55 installed, as well as php5.3.3 and httpd.
It seems the php-mysql package requires MySQL 5.1 (Percona 5.1). Is
there anyway to work this limitation, other than compiling from
source?
Any ideas?
