Subject: Re: Looking for Laptop Recommendations
I jsut got a Dell D620 Core Duo 2.0 ghx laptop. had some spare ram and
hdd got the thing for less than 100 then had to spend about 8 on a new
power supply and 3 on a hdd caddy. but they are champs and it was a
little scuffed up, wich worked out becuase i was able to clena all of
it out with a little cleaning and elbow grease. borrowed an XP install
disk from work fro dell laptops and use the coa on the bottom of the
machine.

However ubuntu 10.10 worked very well on it when i was useing a live
cd to do some testing to verify the battery.

i cant speak well enough for the 620/630 series of laptops, they are
freaking tanks.

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from
rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
