Need Help with Linux Video and Skype

I have a Debian testing machine (Linux version 2.6.32-5-686 (Debian
2.6.32-21) (ben@decadent.org.uk) (gcc version 4.3.5 (Debian 4.3.5-2))) and
the latest Skype for Linux. MY usb camera (external) works with the Skype
test feature, but when I try to start a video session in skype it crashes.
Iceweasel also crashes when I play 2 or more you-tube videos.

Anyone have an idea how to diagnose this problem?
