The cited article's information is not a proper comparison.

The article is comparing a 2-gig Acer with a 1-gig "white-box" (not the
new Lenovo Q150) whereas the new Lenovo Q150 has 2-gig and significantly
greater speed along with significantly better power economy.

=== A few selected excerpts from the cited article:

The new Intel Atom D510 with NM510 Express chipset is the newest platform
known as "Pine Trail" for low power and less complexity.

The D510 runs at 1.66GHz compared with the 330's 1.6GHz.
The D510 supports 667-MHz and 800-MHz memory, while the 300 has a 533MHz FSB.

Even compared with its nettop brethren, the new D510 platform excels:
... the Acer Aspire Revo R3610-U9012 with its dual core Atom 330 and
[2-gig ram] uses 26W under load. And while [it] performs slightly better
than the whitebox [which has only 1-gig ram] on the benchmark tests, that
extra 7W of power usage means the Acer needs a fan to cool its processor
and GPU.

The D510 whitebox is fanless and therefore completely silent ...

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Q110, with its single core Atom 230 and ION
graphics, just about matches the whitebox at 19W usage [ NOTICE this
comparison is to an older Lenovo Q110 and not the new Lenovo Q150 dual
core 510 with 2-gig of ram ... definitely not a fair comparison! ]

... upgrading to a nettop with Atom D510 will open up light multimedia
tasks and make your Web suring run faster. Plus, you might even save some
money on your power bill if you replace an older desktop with a
D510-powered nettop.
