Generally you stick it in your cd/dvd drive and it automounts.... if
there is nothing on there it will usually show as a blank cd/dvd on
your desktop. IF it does mount and it says 0bytes...it's empty ;)
A quick df -h will show you all drive sizes that are mounted and what
there /dev/sdX and lable/uuid are listed.
