Steve,

The first Linksys card I lited below turns out to be a WMP54G v 4.1. Like I
said, it worked out of the box. I replaced that with the Netgear WG111 and
it also worked out of the box.

Finally, the UPS guy delivered a Linksys WUSB600N this evening. It does NOT
work out of the box. A little online search makes it look like the driver
is already present, but the device number is missing from a table. A patch
has been submitted to fix this. I don't have time to look into that further
tonight. But I will do so.
