Subject: Trying to Convert a Windows XP disk to VirtualBox
Gotchas on W7 == DRM and call home features... if the "exact" same
machine specs are not on the "VM" , ie hardware it won't let you
install. OEM's only have a restore partion now and don't give disk for
"reinstalls". I'd imagne the same EULA requiremens are in W7 or
tighter that unless you have purchased the most expensive versions of
the OS it is "illegal" to install it in a VM.
XP is essentially EOL so unless there is some overwhelming reason to
use it, and you don't have the disks. You have 2 options OO.org works
98% of the time and then Google Docs also converts all M$ apps to
other formats....
