Hi,

The entire KDEPIM suite is simply stellar. I use all of them at once
through Kontact.

KMail supports all of the major mail protocols, even groupware, and
disconnected IMAP (which I havent had the chance to really try yet)

Kabc is a really powerful address book with tight integration between
kmail and korganizer.

Korganizer is an awesome todo list/journal/calendar which allows you to
do all sorts of interesting things (such as read blog posts as calendar
entries, load external iCal webdav and groupware resources)

Akregator is an awesome RSS reader.

KarmTracker for those of you who need to keep track of time working on a
project/work

Tie all of that into a nice little wrapper, with a summary page, and to
the awesome backend that is akonadi -- i know some people will complain
that you have to tie your desktop to a mysql server, but that is trivial
and I think the KDE boys are working on moving to sqlite or something
less, well, huge -- and you have yourself an AWESOME PIM suite.

The impressions I got when trying to use Evolution was that it did too
much to emulate Outlook, giving me the impression that it was simply
designed as a stepping stone for Microsoft users into Free software...

Ryan
