Yes, if it is pulling mail, that mail is not going through the gmail
filters, it's just going and retrieving them, so the spam would be getting
through those other accounts filters.

I would think you should be able to identify the accounts which are getting
the spam.

That makes me wonder, If you configure gmail to pull from other POP/IMAP
accounts, maybe it just pulls whatever is there and does not spam filter it
like it does for directly received mail?
