Subject: Re: Netbook for Regular Person
The Eee PC models with the 10 inch screen have full sized keys.

I have an original Eee PC 701 with the 7 inch screen. It has been
great as a portable information and connection device. Even with the
cramped keyboard it has served my purposes very well. And the forums
and the wiki at http://www.eeeuser.com have loads of information about
all the Eee PC models.

Strong advice about them in the forums and by my own experience: Dump
the Asus made, Xandros based Linux install that comes with them.
Install one of the Eee PC Ubuntu flavors to get stability and updates
that don't break things. Asus does not seem to have a clue on how to
put together a distribution.

I think most basic users would love a Linux based netbook since they
do all the basics very well.
