Thanks for your reply Josef,
I do miss having more vitual desktops, it is a problem that I hope to
remedy soon. I believe the problem with the menu editor is a glitch
with the gnome desktop environment. I have been using linux on and off
for 7 years now and have installed and tried about 100 different
versions #'s and different distro's; and ubuntu is by far the best one I
have ever used. If I had the time I would install and try PCLinux.
Unfortunately, there just isn't enough time to try them all. As to
which distro we each choose I will quote xHans: "That's why we have both
chocolate and vanilla."
