That I am unsure of. If you can, this option would be in the DHCP Active IP Table which can be found under "Status | Local Network".

I'm sorry. The router gets a dynamic IP address from Cox. I meant static IPs for my local computers. I have a Dlink router on another network that can assign IP addresses statically to computers that obtain IP addresses via DHCP. I find that feature very useful for port forwarding, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

There should be a dropdown box on the main page that by default says "Automatic Configuration - DHCP" that should be changed to "Static IP". This will provide the boxes necessary to input a static IP. As with all Linksys products, the default IP to point your web browser is 192.168.1.1, no username, password of "admin".

This is slightly offtopic... Does anyone know how to set static IP addresses for the WRT45GL using the shipped firmware (I see no way)? If there isn't, does Tomato or some other FOSS firmware support it?
      Thanks,
      Eric

I know for a long time Sveasoft wasn't releasing the source for their firmware and I'm not sure if that's still the case of not. Google a little if you're interested in the controversy, it's pretty entertaining. I used to run "pirated" versions of Sveasoft until I learned about Tomato

VERY cool software. Completely changes the interface making it all Web 2.0-esque and adds a TON of cool functionality. I set up QoS for various things so, for example, my torrents don't eat up all my bandwidth and my voice/video chats over Skype and SIP work flawlessly at the same time. Ever since I found Tomato, I haven't been keeping tabs on Sveasoft at all.

Many setup Open WRT and Busy Box versions from these tools.

Has anyone played with Sveasoft.com's mods?
