The XBox doesn't require a game be copied to the hard drive. Only
downloads you purchase would require a hard drive. I am just as happy
with my XBox 360 arcade (which means no hard drive). I am thinking
about getting the hard drive, so that I can play older XBox (non 360)
games on it. I am not a big content downloader, except for the WII,
and that is only because I love a lot of the old NES and SNES games.
