usb external media card readers are cheap and everywhere, and given
the cheap price of sd, etc cards, such a <$20 investment comes in
handy if/when you start using them at portable media in their own
right. I just went ahead and picked up an internal multi format card
reader and replaced my floppy drive with it along the way.
