Subject: Re: hardware questions, Ubuntu and Dell
For what it is worth,

I would like to echo the Rune Lord's sentiments.

I have the Dell 530 Inspiron desktop and 1420 Inspiron laptop and am
quite pleased with both of them.

A great part of my buying decision was the desire to encourage DELL with
Linux distribution and whatever drivers are needed. I have also had an
excellent experience with DELLs when working on supporting over a
thousand DELL units in the field.
