It makes sense that the iPod would be formatted this way to cut down
on allocated blocks. Most iPods hold music, files of which are
generally 2KB or greater. So, the iPod cuts down a lot on the inode
directory contents. You could reformat the iPod with 512 byte block
sizes if you like. If libparted is broken, it should be fixed to
handle these issues...
