Not in Kansas anymore :-(

Wife tried to start up her Kubuntu system with one 60GB SATA and this is
what's on the screen:

Kernal Panic - Not Syncing:VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown block
(0,0)



Anyone know what this is and how it could have happened?
