Good point. The Memorex discs were DVD+R and the Maxells were DVD-R. I
went into K3B's configuration screen and under "Setup Devices" it claims
that this drive will write both DVD+R and DVD-R. I suppose that may not
necessarily be accurate, but that does make the problem less puzzling.
