clean up posts please WAS updated 3w-9xxx module

I didn't bother to read the rest of this thread because the posts are
mostly quoted text for pages. I'm not going to parse apart all that
just to find the new information.

(For those who haven't noticed--I'm not just being a jerk. I posted to
the thread and was going to follow it to continue helping out.)
