Keith,

    There is absolutely no reason why the owner of grill.com can't sell off
godaddy.grill.com , and you can even have the
www.godaddy.grill.comaddress.  It's not commonly done, but I don't see
any issues with it (it
does perhaps defy habitual use patterns*).  In the days of the million
dollar domain, it would appear to make sense in many situations.


    best of luck in dealing with GoDaddy, once I was literally on the phone
with the for almost 6 hours and they couldn't even tell me if I was a paying
customer or not!

* in my opinion it actually looks better, wouldn't you rather have
www.go.daddy.grill.com, than www.godaddygrill.com? it's way more readable.
