Managing InfoSec Risk from an Organizational Perspective A guide to risk

At the June '07 AZSPF meeting we will discuss the following topics through
the lens of organizational risk management:

- Breaking down information security risk into associative and
disassociative elements
- Defining organizational risk tolerance
- What is the most effective way to measure return on security
investment
- Key performance measurement tracking for infosec programs


About the Speaker:
Eric Eder is the President and Founder of Intelligent Connections.
Established in 1996 in Royal Oak, Michigan, today Intelligent Connections
has offices across the state of Michigan and in early 2005 expanded to the
southwest by opening an office in Phoenix, Arizona to serve Arizona, New
Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. Intelligent Connections offers network security
services in four broad categories: Consulting Services, Product Deployment &
Integration Services, Managed Support Services, and Certified Training.


The Arizona Security Practitioner's Forum is an organic group for InfoSEC
Professionals.

Generally, our purpose is:
To facilitate knowledge transfer, networking and growth within the InfoSEC
community.
To provide a forum for IT professionals to grow InfoSEC awareness and
competencies.
