Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get a mysql tool connect from a win XP box to mysql on Fedora 6 via port 3306.

To test I'm trying to telnet in. telnet 192.168.20.21 3306
the response : Host 192.168.20.102 is not allowed to connect to this MySql Server. Connection lost to server.

The Linux firewall is deactivated as is SE Linux.

The app gives me the same "Host 192.168.20.102 is not allowed to connect to this MySql Server" response.

I am at a loss. I looked on google and could not find an answer.

Any help much appreciated.

Keith
