RE: grapic on email

The image should be in this email. It will only appear
in email that I compose and send from XEmacs, which I'm
doing now. Sometimes I just use the browser interface
since I now have gmail addresses.

That image of me was taken from a scanned copy of a
grany newspaper photograph of me. I'm a super-long
distance runner; they ran a back page half-page
interview in AZ Republic a couple days after a race a
few years back. The grainyness of the original
certainly didn't help the quality of the end result.

That was about six or seven years ago. Before that I
used an image of a piano keyboard for an X-Face header
for a half dozen years or so. (I used to be a
musician.)

I've forgotten how I made the thing, but I recall
concocting a script that had about eight pipe symbols
in one command.

There are now web sites where you can upload a picture
and it will spit back the code you can put after an
X-Face header.
