What are the current resources for finding out which companies are
producing hardware and providing Free Software support?

A client is talking about moving a dozen desktops to GNU/Linux, I'd love
to make sure all the hardware he gets has Free Software support.

He's a Dell customer now, so maybe their new program will work well for
him, but he's open to working with another vendor after losing patience
waiting for Dell to step up to the plate.
