I don't understand why anyone needs a special reader
for Usenet groups when there is Google groups. Am
I missing some point?
I used to use Gnus in XEmacs for years to do this,
but now I wouldn't touch that program with a ten-foot
pole. It's true that Gnus provides ability to do
scoreboarding and other sophisticated features, but
I've never had much need for them.
Maybe I've just allowed myself to get so strongly
entrenched in Google stuff that I fail to see other
options?
