On my system, lspci shows USB 1.0 clear as day.
I don't know about what version is actually being used though. That would be
an attribute of the connection. I'm guess it'd be in /proc somewhere (when
the device in question is connected, of course).
Methinks you might need a little sleep, dh. ;)
