I would tend to lean towards using cron and wget... BUT, if you prefer a
GUI manager, then check out wxDFast
http://dfast.sourceforge.net/
It's a pretty full featured download manager. I think its main goal
tends to be simultaneous downloads of different parts of a file for
maximized bandwidth use... but it does have a scheduled download
feature. You can set a one-time download for a specific time or even
set up recurring downloads. It looks pretty slick.
