From the interviews I have had, CCNA would do good for your career. Also, the fundamentals that you will learn, or possible expand deeper into, can only make you more marketable, be it an to an isp, storage, consultant, sales, etc
I would give it an 8 in overall value.
Maybe try searching Dice, Monster, Careerbuilder, etc, to see how many positions are available for a CCNA or similar, and that might help you see if there is employer value to it.
