Personally, I have always used Slackware, and I've never liked debian. Not
really sure why. But a couple years ago I tried Arch Linux and I have found
it to be capable of everything I want and is much faster than the other
distros I've used. I usually try the major ones yearly just to see what they
have come up with lately.
Arch is my happy place... ;-)
