Re: Ubuntu and Firefox Browser

While using Firefox Browser:

   Can access the following:
      Ubuntu and Free Software links,
      Firefox and Mozilla links,
      inbox.com
   cannot access the following:
      www.cnn.com,
      www.google.com
      yahoo.com

While not using the browser can access the following:
   Applications:
      Add/remove packages
   System:
      Administration:
         Update manager
            "Your system is up-to-date"
            (no updates since insallation of Ubuntu)

Hope this will give a clue?
