I'm guessing that these are expansion 'plugs' (sorry, can't think of the
proper term at the moment) for adding additional rom to the device. I
believe all you'd need to do to enable them is to plug in the appropriate
rom. I'm guessing that the size it refers to is the maximum (or required?)
size of the rom. Your MB user manual should explain.
