Genius. That worked. I found a mouse that specifically stated USB and
PS2. Didn't need to reboot.
Learned something new everyday.

Did the
mouse come with the USB/PS2
adapter, or did it say it was PS/2 compatible? Not all USB mice are
PS/2
compatible, or vice versa.
