15.4 widescreen.
I disabled the nvidia logo. It's an option for their driver: Option "nologo" "true"
..one of the things I learned on fedora.
Beryl and AIGLX is part of why I'm trying Sabayon.
The boot time is something I'd like improved. Also, I don't think I understand Portage/Kuruu.

Boot tends to be fairly slow, however, there are fixes available on the forums (if you have an Nvidia video card, running "fc-cache -f" is supposed to reduce Nvidia's splash-screen lag). If you install it on hardware that can run XGL, then it'll run fine. I've actually found that AIGLX runs faster than XGL, but that might just be me. What kind of hardware would you be installing it on?

I have mandriva 2007 running nicely with xgl, but I'd prefer aiglx.
I'd give sabayon a try if i know the boot & performance is good.
