This is moving slightly away from your original topic, but if you'd really
like to try AIGLX, try Sabayon Linux. It works with both XGL and AIGLX for
Intel, Nvidia, and ATi graphics cards. (although I've never gotten anything
to work quite right with ATi on Linux, Sabayon Linux included.
