I had emr.net for awhile. There was, but don't know
now, a linux guru there. Anyhow, the old asu freenet
had to move from a server at asu and moved there for
hosting.

I used knoppix and had to setup each bootup! It
worked. (one machine I used had the 'saved config'
setup) I got real good at navigating thru the config
of ppp setup. Not anymore tho, slept twice since then.
IF push comes to shove money wise, and email only will
do it for them, I recommend aztec as it is FREE to
local arizona residents. I still have my mid-1994
email account there!
