in case this is of any use...

[root@srv1 root]# grep ingres /etc/passwd
ingres:x:1025:2501::/home/storage/ingres/ingres:/bin/sh

[root@srv1 root]# grep ingres /etc/shadow
ingres:!!:13063:0:99999:7:::
