Subject: Re: Automatic SMP?
On debian woody and gentoo 2005.0 they recognized the second processor on my
server during the installation process; but they still installed a non-SMP
kernel. Just as a general rule though I have always gone through the process
of building my own kernels for SMP rigs for 'tuning'.
