I know of a systems administrator position that's open in Tucson right now.
It's potentially a really plum job for the right person. The job is at the
Planetary Science Institute (
www.psi.edu), an independent research institute
with about 40 scientists onsite as well as another 20 or so scattered around
nationally and internationally.
They have linux/unix, windows, and OSX systems that need to be watched over
as well as their entire network.
In addition, they work on various planetary and space missions, so this is
an opportunity to get your foot in the door, if you're interested in being a
part of this kind of thing.
