Yes, as soon as you really want to write to the drive, consumer CF is
out of the running. It would last a week or a month and then croak.
There's also the PC Engines WRAP. It's fairly popular with the DIY
appliance crowd, too.
Both of these are somewhere in the middle of my "to do when I have time
and spare cash" list. ;)
