Subject: Re: OT: Acer power plug
It worked before, but... Now seems to just pop right
back out, er, slides out with little tiny wiggle of
anything. Wifey 'inherited' it and the person who
owned it didn't use it hardly at all. I could plug it
in.

Main ??? was if rad shack has/had/etc the same plug.
Would buy a new one and try it to see if it was the ps
end or somehow something in the 'box' isn't got enough
friction to hold it in. That would require the 'rubber
band' method.

Thanks,

Will run it up to rad shack and see if one of their
ends fits and stays put. Then talk to wifey and see
what she wants done.

Don't want to open case cause it is still under
warrantee....I hope.

May bring it to installfestation (hehehe) and have
debian installed. Have cd's she ordered. Rather have a
'pro' install it and a list of what/where/etc she
wants it. She wants the 'redmond terror's' os left
alone.

Oh, well, if not this month, then next.
