Yeah, you can't really beat Gentoo for the sheer amount of packages
available. Actually, even Debian and Fedora spank SUSE when it comes to
package variety.
AFAIK, there aren't any YaST repositories with a decent number of
security apps. A recent thread on the suse-security list (just last
month) made it clear that the best way to get, say, Nessus 3.x is
directly from nessus.org.
FWIW, pretty much all of the third party repositories are listed here:
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories
I don't use YaST for software installation, personally. I use 'smart'
on top of either APT-RPM or YUM.
