I don't use Windows at home (most of the time) so I VPN into work
from Linux. I open "rdesktop" and connect to my desktop XP
machine at work. That gives me the Windows stuff -- Mainly Outlook
and Remedy -- and it's just like being at the office for "office" type
stuff.
I may also have left some X sessions open on my XP desktop, talking
to the *nix servers on which I actually work, so if I connect from
home it's Linux desktop -> XP -> *nix. I may also bypass
the remote desktop with ssh or browsers from my Linux desktop.
Makes the head hurt to think about it . . . :-)
