Subject: Re: 3D Animation
Blender is probably the most robust, however there is a kde app that
does 3d animation... I can't remember the name of it but if I'm not
mistaken it's installed by default with RH, or Mandrake^H^H^Hiva.
(been years since I've used either)

Honestly the term 'easier to use' is so relative it's almost
meaningless. I find the old 3D studios format back when Yates owned
it to be far superior to what 3D Studio MAX is, and the consensus is
that MAX is superior by the public... so yeah.

Personally, I've taken the time to learn Blender through the tutorials
and created a short mine-shaft animation. It was fun, rewarding, and
to be honest felt good to get back into 3D for a little while. Now if
they'd integrate some kinetics to it, we'd be in business.

To exercise power costs effort and demands courage. That is why so
many fail to assert rights to which they are perfectly entitled -
because a right is a kind of power but they are too lazy or too
cowardly to exercise it. The virtues which cloak these faults are
called patience and forbearance.
